(The Background: Less than 12 hours after Boko Haram militants slaughtered over 40 students sleeping in their dorms at the College of Agriculture in Yobe State, President Jonathan came out to have a media chat. Here are some of Dr. Damages’ responses to President Jonathan’s remarks.)
“They said this is not the right day to crack jokes – then they let Jonathan out.”
“You journalists know more than us,” – Jonathan on Boko Haram. So can you hand over the almost N1 trillion naira security budget to journalists?
“Sometimes people take common stealing as corruption, “- Jonathan. Yeah! Sometimes people take common shoeless man as president.
“Give ASUU all they want & there will still be strike,” -Jonathan. Give Jonathan all the powers he wants & there’ll still be corruption.
“Can poor people buy AK47?” asks Jonathan. Can poor presidents spend N1 billion feeding himself and his friends?
“Without education you won’t have Jonathan here,” says Jonathan. See Jonathan and you’ve seen what happened to education in Nigeria.
